But we live in NC, so I can't complain that much!Susannahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00859563799899260079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9219236556397495909.post-58934858338264463782017-01-26T19:48:55.556-05:002017-01-26T19:48:55.556-05:00Noemi - sf might be paradise if it were cheaper!

I like wearing warmer, cozier clothes in winter. I like the feel of the hot air blasting from the heater in the morning. I don't even mind the short days that much. The rain has gotten a little tiresome this winter but I know how desperately we need it so I'm trying to push down my exasperation.

There isn't really a season that is "hard" in SF. At least not weather wise. Does that makes it paradise? ;)Noemihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12792217151905218101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9219236556397495909.post-989731317372661282017-01-26T17:21:41.779-05:002017-01-26T17:21:41.779-05:00I found out last year that Paradise has shorter da...I found out last year that Paradise has shorter days in the winter than what I'm used to living in non-Paradise. I had not been expecting that, though I probably should have. :/Nicole or Maggiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12314056582897161638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9219236556397495909.post-58205379870348247852017-01-26T16:06:33.186-05:002017-01-26T16:06:33.186-05:00*figure skates*figure skatesSolitary Diner (Also Known as The Frugalish Physician)https://www.blogger.com/profile/01239189582752445700noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9219236556397495909.post-40482041607197019572017-01-26T16:06:13.966-05:002017-01-26T16:06:13.966-05:00I'm glad you're in a good mental space abo...I'm glad you're in a good mental space about winter!

Are you using figure skates or hockey skates? I tried skating last winter (for the first time in about 25 years) using figure skating, and I was an absolute disaster. I then tried hockey skates, and they were vastly better. I might not have given up skating (or broken my leg skating as a child) if I hadn't been forced to use the "girl" skates.Solitary Diner (Also Known as The Frugalish Physician)https://www.blogger.com/profile/01239189582752445700noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9219236556397495909.post-67361071837644286812017-01-26T15:32:52.076-05:002017-01-26T15:32:52.076-05:00This is a wonderful post that reflects what a good...This is a wonderful post that reflects what a good mental space you seem to be in.

Me?
